The challenge

Lumen's exhibitions are made of light, paper and sound, and none of it survives a flat photograph. Visitors arrived without context, and online the pavilion looked like every other gallery.

Our approach

We designed an identity that behaves like light: a living wordmark that shifts hue with the time of day, a website that reacts to the cursor like a beam moving across paper, and companion screens inside the space that reveal how each piece was made.

The outcome

Online ticket sales tripled in the first season, and the companion screens became part of the exhibition itself.
